Outraged

Like so many I am outraged and ANGRY. I am a white woman and I am outraged. I'm a proud Democrat, worked my butt off for Obama, thought we were on the right road but today I'm just beside myself. 

I vacillate between helplessness and hopelessness and burying my head in the sand WITH watching CNN all day and feeling the need to quit my job and join a group that's actually fighting back against the crazy. I'm choosing to stand up, I'm choosing to make it a priority. I don't know what that means yet but I know I can't stay silent.

Silence = complicity and that is not ok.
